In October of 2011, we pressed lot 11 of our Three Farmers Camelina Oil. Rather than bottle this as our cold-pressed original, we opted for a different path – we infused the oil with Roasted Onion and Basil extracts. The result, a light and smooth oil with a subtle notes of sweet onion and a light basil finish.

The Camelina seed used in the pressing of lot 11 was grown by Colin Rosengren. It was seeded in the Fall of 2009 and harvested in Summer 2010.  The growing conditions in Saskatchewan during the spring and summer of 2010 were ideal and produced a beautiful field of Camelina, ideal for a high quality oil!
