THREE FARMERS CAMELINA OIL PROVIDED COMPANIES A WAY TO GIVE BACK
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan (January 6, 2014) – ‘Tis the season for giving back to our communities and helping those in need. Three Farmers and the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre partnered together over the holidays to do just that.
The Saskatoon Food Bank began as a temporary project in 1983, and since then it has evolved into an integral part of the Saskatoon community. They focus primarily on addressing underlying causes of food insecurity and poverty, through various programs and services which includes various life skill programs offered at their Learning Centre.
With the same passion for bettering others lives, Three Farmers was established to provide natural, healthy food and bridge the gap between the producer and consumer. They produce Three Farmers Camelina Oil, the only cold-pressed artisanal oil of its kind, which has numerous health benefits and blends well with other flavours, or on it’s own. This holiday season they released gift sets with a sampling of their original and flavour infused oils.
One dollar from every purchase of the Three Farmers gift sets, through January 15, 2014, will be donated to the Saskatoon Food Bank. And if that wasn’t reason enough to celebrate, Potash Corp has also stepped in to match the donation dollar for dollar. Over fifty local and independent businesses (add link to the web page with the list) have helped to contribute to this great cause by purchasing these gift sets.
If you would like to contribute to this campaign you can purchase your own gift set at their online store,www.threefarmers.ca/purchase
