After our episode aired on the Dragon’s Den in October 2012, we decided we better get cracking on pressing another batch of oil and bottling up some of our Roasted Garlic & Chili Flavoured Camelina oil! We contacted our friends at Golburn Valley in Tisdale, SK and they fired up the presses in early November. On November 19th, Elysia travelled out to Spalding where our bottling facility is located and helped the crew prepare the Garlic & Chili mixtures for our oils. We use 100% natural, non-GMO extracts in our flavored oils and they account for less than 5% of the product. The nutritional content of our flavored oils is exactly the same as our Original Camelina Oil!

The camelina seeds that were used for this batch of Three Farmers Roasted Garlic & Chili Camelina Oil were sourced from our farmer Colin. The seeds were planted in the Fall of 2009 and harvested in early July of 2010. Amazing how whole seeds do not lose their nutritional properties over time! This would be the last batch of oil we would get from this crop. Thanks Colin for turning out such a wonderful product for us to enjoy!
